tasting notes

This wine is medium ruby red in colour and displays lifted berry fruits of mulberry with classic Hunter shiraz spice and soft oak. The palate is medium bodied with ripe sweet fruit flavours and balanced well with integrated savoury oak.

winemaking

The wine spent 24 hours cold soaking on skins. Fermentation was over 7 days held at 18 to 24 degrees. The wine was then matured in selected French and American oak for 12 months. Bottled - 2nd July 2009

This wine is from the spectacular 'Inglewood' Vineyard located in the upper reaches of the Hunter Valley. The name 'Two Rivers' was drawn from the Vineyards unique position nestled on the banks of the Hunter River near its confluence with the Goulburn.
