tasting notes

This wine is deep ruby red in colour, displaying aromas of ripe dark berries with a hint of bay leaf and mint with overtones of cedar oak. The palate is well structured showing ripe fruit flavours with a firm yet persistent finish.

winemaking

Cold soaked on skins for 24 hours before being fermented on skins for a further 7 days; holding the temperature during fermentation at between 18 - 25° C. This wine was then matured in selected French and American Oak for 17 months before final filtration and bottling.

This wine is from the spectacular 'Inglewood' Vineyard located in the upper reaches of the Hunter Valley. The name 'Two Rivers' was drawn from the Vineyards unique position nestled on the banks of the Hunter River near its confluence with the Goulburn.
